Westminster Kennel Club 2010:
We have just recently returned from New York City where Emily handled Shelby at the Westminster Dog Show 2010. We are proud and humbled to say that Shelby received an Award of Merit under Judge Karen Wilson. It is such an honor to not only have been invited to this prestigious event but to also receive recognition for the lovely girl she is. A huge congrats to Karen and Chuck Toland for Ringo's Best of Breed at Westminster and to Linda Duncan for Edwina's Best of Opposite Sex. Such an honor to show with such beautiful dogs and to have such wonderful friends in the breed. Thanks so much to my dear friends Meghan Barnes and Crissy Stone for spending the week with me and helping with the drive. I love you guys!
December:
We have taken a break temporarily from the show ring as it is winter and it is not fun traveling in the freezing cold midwest. We are however doing a couple of shows in January, then taking Shelby to Westminster in February. She finished #4 Breed and #3 All Breed which got her an invite to the big one. We are anxious and nervous as it will be an experience. We are making big breeding plans as well for the start of 2010, news will follow as breedings take place. Check back to view show results sometime in January.

Springfield, IL show: Friday judge Cindy Meyer, Shelby won the Breed and Mack took Best of Winners for 1 point! Sunday, under judge Bob Shreve, Shelby won the breed. Shelby picked up 12 more breed points to keep her #3 breed spot secure!
